Yet another LEGO PS1 leak reveals new details about the much-rumored set, suggesting fans of the first PlayStation console are in for a treat.
Even more information about theLEGOPS1 set has surfaced online, with a credible source sharing its approximate dimensions and several other details. The latest leak arrives mere months ahead of the expected launch ofLEGO's first-ever PlayStation console replica.
The Danish toymaker and Sony are believed to have agreed to their next collaboration sometime before March 2026, when thefirst rumors of a LEGO PlayStation 1 began circulating online. From the outset, reports claimed that the PS1 set was targeting a late 2026 launch. The timing would be a natural fit for a nostalgia-driven collectible, as the holiday season is historically the most lucrative period of the year for gift-oriented products.
According to a late August 2026 report by the Brick Tap community, LEGO's PS1 model will be nearly as large as the console itself, with each dimension differing by only a few centimeters, or less than an inch. Brick Tap's sources also reported the existence of diorama-style Easter eggs that can be revealed by pulling out the sides of the PS1 set. One reportedly depictsApe Escape, while the other pays homage toGran Turismo. Since both arewidely celebrated PlayStation 1 classics, neither choice sounds particularly surprising.

The retractable sides are not the only design quirk the PS1 set is expected to include, with the new report claiming the model is "full of Easter eggs." However, there are currently no concrete details about what those other purported secrets might entail. Broadly speaking, a set based on a beloved gadget and consisting of two main components could incorporate Easter eggs into both: the console itself and the sole controller accompanying it. However, therecently launched LEGO 40926 Sega Genesis setshows that this kind of logic does not always hold. Then again, that set may have faced the more difficult challenge of replicating a larger console with a much more limited piece count that's roughly a quarter in size.
